Speaking
Ilene Sova is a dynamic and engaging speaker who is being booked for keynote speeches, panel discussions and workshops. She has been invited to speak on a variety of topics including art, creative entrepreneurship, feminist organizing and art education pedagogy. She has spoken at the Department of Canadian Heritage, Humber College, and the Global Co-working conference. Most notably, Sova was invited to talk at Toronto’s first TEDx Women where she spoke about the Missing Women Project and her ideas for educational change. After the success of the TEDx Women, she was asked to come to Southern University New York to do an all-university lecture on Art and Social Change. Outside of her art practice, the Art Gallery of Ontario invited Ilene to speak to the Summer Institute for Gallery and Museum Educators.
